Please join GMLR in congratulating MJ Egan on receiving the Burton Awards’ “Distinguished Legal Writing” Award. The Burton Awards select pieces that  “demonstrated creativity, knowledge, and know-how” in legal writing. Her comment was one of 15 law student pieces selected for this great honor.

MJ is an associate editor of the George Mason Law Review. Her award-winning comment, When Does “Currently” Using No Longer Apply? The Americans with Disabilities Act, the Opioid Crisis, & the Search for a Solution, will appear in Volume 27, Issue 1.
