This symposium will focus on the unique challenges in competition and antitrust law arising from and existing within the interconnectedness of jurisdictions around the world. Panels will discuss the intersection of antitrust and privacy regulations, the global Google investigations, GUPPIs and a Safe Harbor standard, and extraterritoriality concerns.

 

Expert panelists and speakers will present viewpoints of both domestic and international antitrust regimes. The symposium will feature a morning keynote conversation moderated by Terry Calvani, Of Counsel, Freshfields Bruckhaus Derringer LLP, and a lunch keynote delivered by William E. Kovacic, Global Competition Professor of Law and Policy; Professor of Law; Director, Competition Law Center, George Washington University Law School.
